This privacy policy applies to the Tech Terms: IT Dictionary app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices. This SERVICE is provided at no cost and is intended for use "as is".

I do not collect personal data (like your name or email) directly, as the app does not require user registration. 2. Third-Party Services (Firebase & AdMob)

The Application utilizes third-party services provided by Google to ensure the app functions properly, remains stable, and remains free to use:

• Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display advertisements in the app. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID and IP address to serve targeted or non-targeted advertisements.
• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: We use Firebase to understand how users interact with the app and to log errors or app crashes (Log Data). This data includes device information, operating system version, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other analytical statistics to help us improve the app.

3. Network Access & Dynamic Updates

The Application requires internet access to perform certain core educational functions:

• Database Updates (GitHub): The app periodically checks a public GitHub repository to download new technology vocabulary updates (Over-The-Air updates). This process connects to GitHub servers, which may log your IP address during the download.
• Text-to-Speech (TTS): To provide accurate pronunciations of technical terms, the app utilizes external cloud-based Text-to-Speech services (such as Google TTS).

5. Local Storage & Offline Use

To provide fast and seamless searches, the Application stores the dictionary database locally on your device's internal storage. This data includes technical terminologies and their definitions. No personal data is saved in this local database.

I value your trust in using our Application. Since we do not collect personal information directly, the risk is minimal. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case I discover that a child under 13 has provided personal data through third-party services, I will take steps to ensure its deletion.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
